*Strange Attractor* is the product of over 4 years of recording, mixing, mastering, tinkering, and various re-jiggering. Good grief! It's been a long journey with many pitfalls and roadblocks, but it's finally here for everyone to enjoy, or to despise, if you prefer.

We recorded instruments with our friend Zach Hunter of the Uh Huhs in late 2012/2013. Soon after, Eric who wrote about half our songs headed off to the East Coast, functionally ending Tsar Bomba as an active unit. We passed vocal tracks back and forth and the album stayed on the shelves for a while until Dr. Daniel J. Whelan, who had previously done work on releases by local groups Swampbird and the Uh Huhs, offered to mix and master the album, bringing our rusty dream back to life and now, to you!

Most of the songs were written around 2011/2012 with politics in mind and a cheekily exaggerated sense of the world going downhill. And here we are about 5 years later, undoubtedly in worse shape. So, feel free to blame that on us if you like, but hey, at least you'll have a pretty good soundtrack for one of the weirdest and scariest times America's faced.

Mostly, we just hope you'll enjoy the harmonies, the catchy bass lines, the smokin riffs and burning shreds, the 'shuffle & pound' of the drums, and the mastery put into the mixing. Thanks!
